A large number of electric modules are available for the transmission of electrical signals via the quick-change system. Some of the modules can also support the inputs/outputs of the quick-change system, e.g.?for locking, unlocking, and for RTL proximity sensors (ready-to-lock) as well as for the tool ID. Application-specific designs are available upon request. All of our standard electrical and signal modules are compatible with our automatic SCHUNK SWS-L heavy-duty systems via an adapter block. A tool change system is comprised of two components. The component which attaches to the robot is the robot side. The component which attaches to the tooling is the tool side.
